What To Do This September

Our Autumn Season kicks off with an action-packed September on What To Do.

We start the party in the best way we know how – with a What To Do Disco raising the Autumn Season’s curtain on Wednesday 6th September at 7pm. DJ Jeff from our own Mill Point service will be taking your requests and filling the dance floor in your home!

Our friends at the National Football Museum in Manchester will be celebrating the beautiful game on Wednesday 13th September at 5pm. Then we’ll be getting creative with an afternoon of crafts (20th September) and learning from a make-up artist to the stars (27th September).

5. World Animal Day 4th October

Awesome Autumn Disco

Wednesday 6th September, 7pm

Resident DJ, Jeff from our Mill Point service spins your favourites and takes your requests to kick off our Autumn season in style. Get your dancefloor ready! The What To Do Disco is a great way to have fun, hear your favourite songs and dance with familiar faces.

Football Fever

Wednesday 13th September, 5pm

Do you support a footy fan? The National Football Museum reveal important objects from soccer’s past, stories from the game’s history and an opportunity to share your love of the national game. This is a fantastic opportunity for the people we support to share their passions with like-minded people and take part in some fantastic football themed activity.

Crafty Afternoon

Wednesday 20th September, TBC

Get creative with a fun and accessible autumn-themed crafts session. More details on this session coming soon.

Glow Up

Wednesday 27th September, 2pm

Professional make-up artist to the stars, Samantha Metcalfe, teaches us some accessible basics for brilliant results. Samantha has worked with actors on the sets of Coronation Street and Emmerdale, sports stars as part of Sky’s football coverage and BBC Breakfast television. She is an expert in all things make-up and will provide some fabulous tips for a low cost glow up!
