Christmas on What To Do

It’s the Most What-To-Do Time of the Year….!

We’re counting down the weeks to Christmas with four sensational seasonal sessions on What To Do.

After a year of amazing experiences on Community Integrated Care’s online hub, we’re celebrating December’s festivities in style.

There’ll be opportunities to sing, dance, craft and be merry over four Wednesdays of wonderful experiences.

Here’s what’s in store…

Get Rudolph-ready with Christmas Crafts!

After this session with artist Frankie you’ll have beautiful Christmas decorations to make sure your home is ready for the season. Frankie will be teaching us to make silver tree decorations using leaf rubbings. All you need to bring along is:

Small(ish) but pretty shaped leaves
Aluminium foil
Cardboard (like a pizza box)
PVA glue
Scissors
Hole puncher
String or ribbon (can be any kind of string, but preferably decorative)

Christmas Crafts is on Wednesday 29th November at 2pm

Sing along to some Festive Favourites!

Sing along with opera tenor Philip Smith as he belts out some festive favourites including: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, White Christmas, Mistletoe and Wine and Walking in a Winter Wonderland. Philip put on a fabulous show for us this year for International Friendship Day, for Christmas he’ll be bringing Christmas cheer and songs to get us in the spirit.

Festival Singalong is on Wednesday 6th December at 4pm

Join the Choir!

This Makaton session is the perfect introduction to the accessible sign language skill or the chance to show off what you already know! This Christmas celebration will be led by Inspire’s Makaton group who’ll be taking us through some seasonal classics. You’ll come away with a whole set of Makaton Christmas classics to share with your family and friends.

Star in the What To Do Panto!

This is a great opportunity to learn theatre skills, take part in games and dance routines and be the star of a panto with a difference! Arts specialists RAWD are leading us through a chaotic Christmas caper as we tread the (virtual) boards in a performance to remember!

Inclusive Panto is on Wednesday 13th December at 2pm
